In England in the town of West Bromwich, there’s a set of old phone boxes that sit opposite each other in the main hight street. They are typical old British type phone boxes, bright red with window slats. The locals claimed that the phones used to ring  each other randomly throughout the day and night. If you tried to answer the phones there would be nobody on the line. One day someone decided use the 1471 feature which reads out the phone number of the last incoming call. To their surprise the number they read out was the phone number of the phone box opposite. They did the same with the other phone box and that one also read out the number of the phone box opposite. This is where things get even spookier… Some people have reported seeing an apparition of a young man in one of the phone boxes making a phone call but when they get closer he is said to disappear. Nobody knows why the Phone boxes rang each other as there are no documented tragedies surrounding them but West Bromwich is said to be one of the most haunted towns in The Black County. The phone box frames are still there but the phones have been taken out, as they’ve become obsolete over time. West Bromwich is my hometown and even now when I pass by those phone boxes, i get the willies!
